We couldn’t welcome fall without a proper trip to an apple orchard! This is the first of many bucket list dos I’m checking off this season!
This year Glor and I decided to beat the crowds as we headed over to the orchard earlier than in previous years. We chanced not having the apples ripe enough but our timing happened to be right on point. The trees were loaded with all sorts of beautiful apples! It’s utterly the worst showing up to an orchard late in the season and finding the trees all bare.
We are so lucky to be living in an area where we’re literally surrounded by farms and orchards. We particularly enjoy visiting this orchard because it’s so close to home. It’s not as big as some others but we love what it offers. Our next trip will be to the pumpkin patch and that’ll probably take place in the next week or so. I’m waiting for the corn harvest to take place in order to visit a giant maze and do a little hay ride as well. Fall season is probably the most fun season for us. Lots to do, see and eat!
