Peacoat Winter Style

It’s official folks, winter is finally here! Actually it’s not, we still have a few more days before winter arrives, but hey, when it snows, that’s official enough for me! Today I’m sharing this super cute winter outfit with a few new favorite pieces. b.p foldover crossbody and a peacoat.First I want to start with this double breasted peacoat by b.p. Guys, this here preppy coat is just UNDER $40!!! It is perhaps my most amazing purchase thus far from the Nordstrom’s fall sale! It comes in 3 other colors and is currently well stocked. I found it to be on the smaller end so I recommend you size up. For the price this coat/jacket is a fantastic find! It is nicely lined and surprisingly warm and comfortable. Although I wish it had the classic anchor buttons I do love the tortoise shell buttons for an updated look!

The other item I recently found at Nordstrom is this fabulous foldover crossbody also by b.p. It totally looks high end! Right now it’s on sale for under $30! Tassel-tipped zippers and golden accents style this versatile crossbody bag and it’s made from smooth faux leather. You would never know it, that’s how pretty this bag is. It’s beautifully lined with extra pockets inside and has an adjustable strap. I love doing my errands and shopping hands free!Preppy plaid and fair isle winter style.Fair isle sweater preppy winter style.Fair isle and hunter boots winter style. My fair isle sweater is an oldie but goodie from the Brooks Brothers Red Fleece collection. I found similar ones here and here. I layered it with the Stewart Victoria Plaid flannel shirt from LLBean. These shirts sell out EVERY SINGLE YEAR! They are warm and slightly fitted and run true to size. They are a great investment and come in a beautiful variety of colors/patterns for the winter season.

I pulled the trigger on these matte olive Hunter boots! They are hard to find and NEVER go on sale, however HUNTER is having a pre-black Friday sale going on right now for 20% on select styles. FYI, these are actually the men’s original tall side-adjustable boot. If you have large calfs (like I do) you can always try the men’s boots, but you MUST SIZE DOWN. I have a pair of ‘wide calf’ glossy black women’s boots and I find the men’s boots to be a much better fit. They are made slightly taller and wider at the calf. You can find the women’s version here.
Preppy winter style. Hoping you all have a great week ahead. Snow or not, enjoy the weather in your neck of the woods!
