Well, now that summer is in high gear it’s a good time as any to spruce up your coffee table book ideas if you haven’t already done so. I have quite an extensive idea list of fabulous books to consider. You can take a look at past posts here and here for more book decor inspo. Adding these to your tabletop is a great way to freshen up your summer vibe and entertain your guests as well. And don’t forget to place them in your spare/guest rooms as well.
As for actual reading, I just finished THE FIVE STAR WEEKEND by Elin Hilderbrand and it was such a fun read. I didn’t expect anything less. I’ve read a couple of Elin’s books before and she never dissapoints, especially how she always describes all of Nantucket’s beautiful scenery. Now I’m reading A WELL BEHAVED WOMAN by Therese Anne Fowler, basically a novel of the Vanderbilts, of Alva Vanderbilt to be exact. A woman from a family with a good name but with great debt and how she climbs the social ladder of the American gilded age. It’s very amusing to say the least.
