Come summertime and I love to wear my hats. They do double duty by providing protection from the UV rays and helping me look chic. Today I’ve rounded up a seleciton to get you started on your own collection on some of the best summer hats to have.
I’m starting off with the navy bow sunhat. It’s been a favorite of mine for years and I bring it with me on just about every summer trip because not only is it packable but it looks so good with almost all of my outfits. It’s probably one, if not, the best beach hat that I have. I think I may just finally get the white bow as well…
My second most loved summer hat is the raffia bucket hat. It’s such an underrated little thing, I tell ya! Wear it with your favorite jeans and a T-shirt on the weekends or with a lovely summer dress and sandals, this hat is very versatile. And if you’re into the ‘coastal grandmother aesthetic’ (like me) this is a must-have! You really can’t go wrong. Bonus: It bounces back easily after a trip in your suitcase.
I’ll finish my top three with the ever popular classic boater hat. Because nothing says summer like a boater hat! Think yacht club chic. I love to pair this hat with bathing suits, sun dresses, and when I want to look casual but polished, I wear it with tailored shorts and oxford shirts.Â
