Wrapped in Coral

Today begins a new month and with it comes a new season. I can’t believe summer is for the most part over. Upon the start of September for me it always feels like it ushers in the fall season immediately, even if we’re 20 days away from the official change. Our days have already been shortened, the early morning hours are now in darkness, the afternoon temps have dipped and some of the tree tops around the neighborhood have begun their color change. Yep, cuddle season has begun…

I bought this pretty coral blanket, throw, wrap, whatever you want to call it specifically for our beach trips last month. It is seriously the softest thing ever and as I found out, perfect for multiple uses.

I first laid it out on the sand for Glor to lounge on while at the beach, and was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to rid of the sand after using it. I now have it in my family room over a chair waiting for my fall decor to stir up.

Today I brought it along for a picnic with Glor and since the temps are already dropping it’s great for some warmth near a bonfire. I love the vibrant coral color and the nautical theme it has. And because it’s such a bold color it makes for a nice transition going into the fall. I’m currently eyeing this one for the upcoming ski season and this one with its ultimate classic winter print. Can’t wait to snuggle with these next to a fire!
