Spicy Popcorn Shrimp Veggie Wraps

Today I’m sharing another super simple but sooo delicious summer recipe that I know you’ll love! I’m a huge fan of asian foods and here I have one of my favorite asian inspired sauces paired with Gorton’s Popcorn Shrimp for a fantastic grown up take on this wildly popular seafood delight.

Kids of all ages love the satisfying crunch of these expertly seasoned Popcorn Shrimp. Coated in a golden crispy breading, they’re guaranteed to add a pop of flavor to any meal. Just add a little of my spicy dipping sauce, some noodles and wrap with fresh butter lettuce for an amazingly fresh summer treat!


One 14 oz. package frozen Gorton’s Popcorn Shrimp

1/4 cup soy sauce

3 tablespoons rice wine vinegar

2 tablespoons asian red pepper chili sauce

2 tablespoons sriracha sauce

3 tablespoons sesame oil

1 tablespoon sugar

(optional) sesame seeds & scallions

1 package Udon noodles

How to make Spicy Popcorn Shrimp Lettuce Wraps

  1. For the spicy dipping sauce whisk together all ingredients (including sesame seeds if using) and place in a small serving bowl. Set aside.
  2. Bake Gorton’s Popcorn Shrimp according to package directions.
  3. For the udon noodles, boil 1 cup of water, add the noodles and cook for a few minutes. Drain excess water and set aside to cool. (If using seasoning packets, add, mix well and set aside to cool before serving.)
  4. Arrange wraps as follows: layer with noodles, shrimp, drizzle with chili dipping sauce and top with scallions. Enjoy!
