Back To School Style Vol. 1

It’s official kids, summer is basically over, at least for us. Today we’re showcasing Glor in her back to school outfits featuring J.Crew Factory and Clinton Crossing Premium Outlets. I’m super excited about the pieces we found because we were able to create TWO outfits! With just a couple of essential pieces, Glor can’t wait to start her new school year in style.A couple of weeks back Glor and I visited Clinton Crossing Outlets and we had such a great time shopping for her back to school outfits. We were able to pick out some pieces from different retailers and today we’re showcasing our picks from J. Crew Factory.

The ruffled collar sweatshirt has such a lovely look! And it’s parent approved long enough to cover her bootay. Glor wears size 12 slim and these are all true to size. The camo leggings are the fall season’s IT bottoms! They are comfy and it’s a fun ‘neutral’ print as you can see by both outfits. The loafers have since sold out but these are perfectly similar.

TIP: Kids shoe sizes are sometimes limited, and depending on your tween’s personality they can be too kiddie. That’s when you can check out the women’s shoe section. Glor currently wears shoe size 6 – 6.5, depending on the brand and I get most of her shoes from the women’s collections since they offer more styles.

OUTFIT ONE

Here we have the same camo leggings but this time we paired them with another fun print, a striped long-sleeve tie-front tee and the pink quilted puffer vest. I have the adult’s version of the vest in navy but the pink for Glor is super chic! It’s a great wardrobe piece to ease in to the fall season. And we tied it all in with a pair of Nike kicks for a casual preppy look.

OUTFIT TWO

Clinton Crossing Premium Outlets has a great selection of retailers to choose from for all of your shopping needs. And it’s especially fantastic when you get to shop from some of your favorites at a bargain! Starting August 18 take advantage of CT tax-free week for even more of the great deals!
