One more for the chic of it! Summer is beginning to wind down around these parks but the outfits are still commanding my attention. Case in point, I got this dress earlier in the summer with the hopes of wearing it right away but I stashed it in the closet and totally forgot about it. I was rummaging through for something else when I found it and decided to throw it on.

Oh, the conundrums of wardrobe shopping online. Usually cotton and linen blends are not bad combos. But for whatever reason this dress is not as soft as I would’ve like it to be. Maybe it’s just me, my tolerance for thick or itchy materials is bar none! It doesn’t have much room for error either (note to self, avoid wearing it for brunch) and I seriously think the dress could’ve done without the pockets.
Whew, having said all of that, I love the way the dress styles! It’s the reason why I got it. It’s easy to throw on and go. The one shoulder looks super fabulous and I love the thin stripes, (another classic summer theme). The dress does not disappoint in the style spectrum and hopefully I’ll get a chance to wear it again before the temps dip, maybe as an evening look next time.
