Last year I attended the Spring Preview at Clinton Crossing Outlets and it was loads of fun. So when the invite came again this year I knew I couldn’t pass it up. We were enthusiastically greeted by the wonderful PR staff and a fantastic spread of goodies.
But enough of the goodies. Now to the real fun. Spring previews are just that, fashion trends that are in high gear from the latest fashion designers. We were introduced to some I’m already acquainted with and some that although not new to my radar but were definitely worth checking out.
Case in point, G.H Bass. This brand has been around for quite some time. What caught my attention is the fresh new look they’ve infused into their collections. This super chic Mermaid beach tote may or may not have made it home with me. And the cute anchor socks and seersucker pinstripe tennis shoes are pretty much every prepster’s must have!Chico’s had a really nice display of denim and chino pants with the season’s classic prints. Always a sucker for gingham!Lucky Brand had a really nice collection of boho style on hand. Loved the summer themed jewelry and the feminine fabrics. What’s summer without the latest fashion in sunglasses! Sunglass Hut had a great collection of classic styles to try. There were so many things to look at that keeping a mental log of everything is not an easy task when you’re constantly trying to take the perfect pic but alas, the goodie bags were fantastic!
I had a great time along with many other Connecticut bloggers at this year’s Spring Preview at Clinton Crossing. As you can imagine, there were lots to shop for! I’m looking forward to next year’s event.
Special thanks to Simon Premium Outlets and Clinton Crossing for inviting me to this fashion preview event.
