Last week I was super excited to attend yet another fun Simon Malls fashion event. This time it took place at Clinton Premium Outlets in Clinton, CT. I was excited to meet up with fellow CT influencers Megan from Closet Fashionista and Lydia from Chic on the Cheap. We were greeted by a wonderful and excited staff at #Saksoff5th with great food, music, drinks and an awesome spring shopping itinerary.
After a fantastic spread of refreshments and o’dourves we began our spring fashion previews by stopping at pre-selected shops. As you can imagine, none of us went home empty handed…
Our first stop was at Designer Fragrances & Cosmetics where I found a beautiful set of the Polo Ralph Lauren ‘Big Pony’ perfumes for women and was gifted with one of my favorite makeup staples, Lancome’s Hypnose Drama Mascara. I was one happy girl! Then we headed over to DKNY for fabulous bags and couture. Our following stop brought us to one of my favorite shops, Lindt Chocolatiers for some amazing hot chocolate. They prepared a fantastic version of their own hot chocolate using chocolate truffles, which by the way I’ll be posting the recipe for you to enjoy!
Afterward we ventured in to the very chic Club Monaco where I found this amazing little black dress.Next stop was Hanna Andersson, the cutest little kids boutique I’ve seen yet! As you can imagine I had to pick up an item or two for my little girl. I absolutely loved their Swedish style apparel and the fact that everything is made with organic products is simply fantastic!
And of course no trip to the mall is ever complete without a pit stop at J. Crew Factory where I found the awesomest summer anchor pjs and then fell in love with this bright yellow bracelet! Our last stop was to Aeropostale or Aero. Not knowing what I could possibly find there since it’s geared for tweens and teens I was a little hesitant. But we were introduced to the bright and colorful men’s collection. They’ve created a very prep look for men this spring and since we were gifted with some spending money, I went home with a few pieces for the boys…
Needless to say the experience was so much fun. There is so much to do and see at Clinton Premium Outlets. If you happen to be in the neighborhood I recommend you stop by and take advantage of all the great designer items at great prices!
