Cable Knit, Snow and Hunters, Oh My!

So we are starting the new year with a blizzard bang!

Living in the Northeast, it’s no wonder that we get bombarded with snow year after year. But this particular snow storm was an interesting one in that it came at the very start of the new year thus extending vacation time for the kids!

Lucky for me and my family we all enjoy the snow very much, except for the part where my mudroom becomes like a war zone with all kinds of snow attire; boots, coats, jackets, scarves along with what seems endless puddles! But since we are avid skiers, snowborders and serious sledders, we intend to make the most of the fresh snow blanket!

On this day I got myself ready for a quick pit stop to the market. And boy was I glad to bring out my soft and comfy cable knit sweater! I always look forward to wearing this particular sweater. It is incredibly warm, perfect for the 15 degree temps and classically stylish. I paired it with one of my favorite skinnies. My hunter boots and wellies finish off the look while providing all the protection I need. And off I went to stock up on a few necessities.

    Lovely photos and clothes.

I live in turtlenecks during the cold months to the point where if I don’t wear one, my friends ask me if I’m feeling OK 🙂
