Venice, Shopping & A Summer Scent
One of my favorite ways to experience a new city is to simply wander.
No itinerary. No rush. Just beautiful streets, elegant storefronts, and seeing where the day takes me.
While exploring Venice’s luxury shopping district, I reached for a combination that felt like summer in Italy: Ellis Brooklyn Vanilla Salt layered with Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue.
Light Blue brought a burst of bright citrus that felt right at home along the Mediterranean, while Vanilla Salt softened it with a warm, salty vanilla that lingered beautifully throughout the afternoon. Together, they captured everything I wanted to remember about that day.
It’s funny how fragrance can preserve a moment. Every time I wear these two together, I’m instantly transported back to Venice, strolling past designer boutiques, soaking in the atmosphere, and enjoying the simple pleasure of getting lost in one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
Sometimes the memories that stay with us aren’t the things we bought. They’re the places we wandered and the fragrance we wore while we were there.
