Coastal Style, Linen & Summer Fragrance
There’s something about a day by the water that makes getting dressed feel effortless.
I wasn’t trying to put together the perfect outfit. I simply reached for pieces that always make me feel comfortable, polished, and ready for wherever the day takes me. Whether it’s a walk on the beach, lunch by the shore, or spending a quiet afternoon listening to the waves, I’ve learned that the simplest outfits are often the ones I wear the most.
For this look, I started with a white swimsuit and paired it with white linen beach pants. Then I threw on one of my favorite pieces: a vintage J.Crew summer cardigan. It’s cozy, classic, and has that timeless coastal feel that never goes out of style.
One of the things I love most about vintage clothing is that it tells a story. Instead of chasing every trend, I enjoy mixing well-loved pieces with everyday basics. It creates a look that feels personal, relaxed, and unmistakably me.
Of course, no outfit ever feels complete without fragrance.
For this beach day, I layered Zara Red Temptation with Victoria’s Secret Daring, and the combination couldn’t have been more fitting. Red Temptation brought a warm, softly sensual depth, while Daring added a smooth, airy woodiness that kept everything feeling effortless. Together, they created a scent that felt sophisticated without being overpowering, perfect for a warm afternoon by the shoreline.
One of my favorite things about layering fragrances is how they become part of the memory. Long after the day is over, one spray has the power to transport you right back to the salty breeze, warm sand, and easy pace of a late summer afternoon.
Sometimes it’s not about having an elaborate outfit or wearing the latest trend. Sometimes all you need is comfortable linen, a favorite vintage find, and a fragrance that makes you feel like the best version of yourself.
Those are the days I remember most.
