Today I’m sharing one of my looks from my trip to Miami. It’s only befitting to dress according to the occassion so I brought along some of my coastal staples for the trip and they didn’t disappoint. The Coastal Grandmother aesthetic is here to stay.
The style includes lots of loose breathable fashion. Linens in neutral beiges, whites, creams, and natural fabrics including cashmere. Oversized oxford shirts, comfy chinos, and lots of classic neutrals. It’s a romanticized Hamptons-esque vibe that’s getting more popular by the moment. It fits even in Miami!
Case in point my wide-leg seaside pant in linen and this fabulous French Blue button down shirt also in linen. And when at the beach I put on this cute bikini top in place of a bra in this pretty green for a pop of color.
We don’t have to live near the beach or have grandchildren to be ‘coastal grandmother.’ Really, it’s an aesthetic, a fashion theme if you will. The style is clean and casual with classic components. The lifestyle comes from being comfortable in our own skin and doing the things that brings us joy with those that matter to us the most. ☀️
