This weather has me doing all sorts of flip flopping. One day it’s turtleneck season and the next it’s tees and shorts. We’re in peak foliage season but there are still many full green trees, leave it to the typical Indian summer in New England. We had one of those fair weather days so I took the opportunity to wear this cute smocked top with white skinnies even if without much sunshine.
I’m not a huge fan of ruffles and frills when it comes to my wardrobe but every now and then I come across something that’ll catch my attention. I was hunting for a dress when I saw this puff-sleeved smocked top and thought it would be super cute to style. And although there are endless possibilities as to what I could’ve paired it with, I chose the white jeans since it brings out the fall hues much more. It runs true to size and is also available in black. And yes, white after Labor Day is a thing.
So this was literally the second time I put on a pair of heels. The first was when I wore block style heels in this recent post and they really don’t compare to stilettos. Let me tell ya, I was a hot mess wearing the leopard print heels. I was terrified walking in these things. Since the ankle injury, by the way I’m still dealing with on and off swelling and pain, it’s so scary for me to get back on heels. I felt like a little girl learning for the first time to walk on heels and as soon as the photo shoot was over so were the heels!🙈
