Spring has finally sprung and I decided to take my new ponies out for a walk. How absolutely fabulous are these gingham (or checkered) ankle-strap sandals?! When I saw these I knew they were coming home with me. It’s a classic pattern I adore plus a comfortable thick heel and height to dress up or down! They look fabulous with jeans as I have done here or paired with a great dress for a Spring soirée! These are currently on sale and fully stocked. These guys here were my second choice.
As of late I’ve been layering my button downs. It’s a great alternative to wearing jackets and get mileage on otherwise boring shirts. I layered a thick chambray shirt over the white Oxford. I think it’s a match made in fashionville! Two of my favorite shirts in one. If the temps dip a little more I’ll tie the kerchief on my neck. It’s a simple way to add some versatility to your shirts while keeping warm. It would also be fun to layer two different patterns for a super chic look.
And while we’re at it, don’t forget to get yourself a pretty little straw basket bag for the season. You’ve probably seen the cult Gaia bag. I think 99.9% of fashion bloggers are carrying it around like it’s the hottest thing ever. Personally I’m not a fan. I think the bag is actually ugly, not convenient for carrying real items and a total sham for the price tag.
I got my bag last year and I’m already obsessed with the latest selection that just rolled out this season. This year’s version of the one I have is already sold out so I’ve linked a similar one. I totally love this one and for under $50 it’s a beautiful bag to have! They make great stylish accessories that are practical for the spring and summer months.
