Here we are guys. It’s mid August and I’m talking fall style. Please don’t hate me for it. As much as I LOVE summer and want it to last for at least another month or so, well lets face it, it’s time to start planning for the fall.
Shopping for back to school outfits for the peanut has me feeling all sorts of autumn. How do you transition into fall style, you may ask? Start with pieces that you can wear now and slowly transition them into the fall. Case in point, this lovely orchard print shift dress. I love the darker hues and how they enhance my summer tan is a plus!Dress, c/o MODCLOTH | Bag, c/o MODCLOTH | Booties, Nordstrom | Bangle one & two c/o Charming Charlie | Necklace one & two | Charm bangle, Alex & Ani | MarcJacobs Iconic Eye Shadow in GLAMBITION, c/o
I’m partnering with the #modclothsquad to introduce to you a friendly online destination that celebrates body positivity and inclusivity. Like me, ModCloth believes that fashion is for every body type which is why they offer a full range of sizes from xxs to 4xL! They offer curated designer pieces as well as an in-house line.
This shift dress is a classic piece that is extremely flattering on all body types. It’s made of chiffon and layered with a navy slip. I love how it drapes nicely, how comfy it feels and the pretty apple print is perfect for the fall. As the temps begin to dip I’ll throw on a jean jacket and turn my fall look into a preppy one with these awesome oxfords. I’ve got my eyes on this dress too!
In keeping with fall vibes, I accessorized my look with this charming little bag. Isn’t it the cutest?! It introduces a lovely forest green background with large flowers and rustic bamboo accents, all autumnal elements. It’s a great way to showcase fall hues and keep your style looking chic!
This week I’ll be heading back to the beach but I’m secretly crushing on fall… Have a great week ahead friends!
Special thanks to MODCLOTH for sponsoring this post. All opinions and views are strictly my own.
