One of the best things of summertime for me is to take a one and a half hour drive to my favorite city by the sea, Newport, RI. Year after year we’ve had the pleasure of visiting this place for the summer to relax and enjoy the nautical life, even if for a few short weeks. So I grabbed the kids and went down for Memorial Day weekend as it’s the ‘official’ unofficial start of summer.

I brought along this cute top that had me like, what!, since the moment I laid my eyes on it! Bows and stripes paired with white, you can’t get any more chic (or summer classic) than that. And being a Yankee’s fan it’s a no brainer to pick up anything pinstripe.
I’m currently scouting these pieces to add to my summer collection because you just can’t have enough of this seemingly subtle pattern while also trying to amp up my arsenal of white pants too. And lets face it, anything with a bow on it just makes everything that much more fabulous.
