Promenade Shops at Evergreen Walk

It’s no secret I love shopping, it’s my therapy really. Lucky for me I live near a favorite spot to shop and quench my shopping habits. The Promenade Shops at Evergreen Walk is situated in the beautiful town of South Windsor, CT. It offers easy access, loaded with some of my favorite shops and boutiques and is equipped with fabulous dining and social hot spots!During a recent visit to the little village we popped in at Nixs Evergreen for a sampling of their latest Acoustic Brunch Menu. Some classics include Eggs Benedict and a Brioche stuffed with Nutella French Toast. My absolute fave item on the menu was the Crispy Steak & Eggs, although it was more like pulled pork, yummo! Also available were Chicken & Waffles, Naked Spicy Tuna, Huevos Rancheros stuffed Fajitas and of course no brunch is ever complete without Mimosas!After our culinary feast we headed over to Stonewall Kitchen. This little shop is full of everyday items for the home and kitchen. I absolutely love their one of a kind jams and jellies and all sorts of mixes and condiments. My favorite jam (or spread) of course is the Fig & Walnut Butter. I always find a new kitchen gadget or something pretty for my home every time I stop in. I love that Stonewall Kitchen also offer food samplings and cooking classes throughout the year. Next we ventured into Sephora for a much needed cosmetics refill. Full of all things glam, Sephora has just about everything and anything you need for all of your cosmetics endeavors! I picked up some new eyebrow essentials, (to be featured in a future beauty post).Next we popped in at Francesca’s. If you follow me on Instagram you know all about my latest obsession. How’s this fabulous Mint Pineapple Ring Dish! Perfect for safekeeping of my little treasures. Next we shifted gears and visited J. Crew for a peek at some of the latest looks. Of course I didn’t leave empty handed. This season’s hottest style trend is the off-the-shoulder look! I picked this bright yellow top and rounded up some of my favorite o-t-s yellow tops and fun accessories for the summer, (check back for the full post on this sexy trend coming up soon)!Lastly, no shopping trip is ever complete without a sweet ending. Taste by Spellbound is taking over Connecticut by leaps and bounds! This clever little bakery/boutique is to die for! From the much loved macarons and amazing cupcakes, to truffles and coffee and so much more, this little shop has everything for your sweet tooth! And perhaps one of the things I love most about Promenade Shops at Evergreen Walk is the fact that I can bring my pooch along! It’s a pet friendly place that makes shopping a whole lot better.
