Just recently I had the pleasure of spending some quality time with some blogger friends. We got together at Rooftop120, which happens to be literally within 10 minutes down the road from where I live, convenient is an understatement! I’m so excited to have such a fun place to hang out at especially in the summer months since the rooftop is wide open and lots more fun when the weather is perfect!
We were treated to an amazing array of small plates of which I couldn’t figure out my absolute favorite since they were all fantastic! Ever had Beef Pate? It’s definitely a must! I really enjoyed the ‘Cuttlefish Bolognese with Squid Ink Pasta’ as it’s something I’m familiar with. While growing up my mom used to make similar plate, Rice in Squid Ink with baby Octopus and this dish reminded me of her cooking, not for the faint of heart as the dark coloring my surprise you but definitely a good one to try.
As for the drinks, if you follow me on Instagram you know which was my favorite. Hands down the ‘Havana Breeze!’ Nothing quite as good as sweet caribbean flavors. The runner up of course was the Sangria. And yes, after a few cocktails on deck the hair came down!
