All I can say is I wish I had known how to do this sooner! Until recently I cooked my corn stovetop. I would boil them in salted water anywhere from 15-20 minutes, depending on how many I had to cook. So done with that now, or at least during the warm weather, I may go back to that in the wintertime…
But for the most part this is how I’ll be cooking my fresh summer corn, on the grill! My lovely friend Wendy from Connecticut Lifestyles Magazine made these from a recipe featured in Stop & Shop’s Savory magazine and I absolutely loved it. I knew the minute I got home I would try it. This is my simple version:
[yumprint-recipe id=’55’]I swear there’s just something about grilling food that makes it taste so much better. This recipe couldn’t possibly be any more simpler. Considering you’re cooking with minimal ingredients you end up with the best tasting and sweetest ever summer corn, and all it takes is about 15 minutes total. Epic!
Mmm, I love grilled corn on the cob! I’ve never put cheese on them, but I can’t imagine it would be bad!
