Shopping for beach attire is not one of my favorite things to do. If you’re anything like me this pretty much sums it up; the New Year’s resolution was to lose ten pounds by summer, now I’ve got only twenty more to go!

But it’s so nice to find something as chic as this kaftan which I think is the perfect cover up for those extra pesky little dimples. Talbots hit it off the ball park with this one. The bold coral print is absolutely gorgeous! I love the length and how easily you can adjust the waistline. It is incredibly lightweight and uber soft. The only drawback is that it’s slightly sheer so you’re forced to wear a light colored suit underneath. This polka dot yellow one was the only light one I had but I think it worked out pretty nicely.
As you can see my day by the seashore was worth every pound. It was by far one of the nicest summer days this year so far.

I love a bit of beachy elegance, and the coverup and hat are the perfect pair. The monogramed tote is adorable as well! Glad you just went out to enjoy the beach and the perfect weather and didn’t let anything get in the way.
