We had so much fun shooting these pics in the park that I couldn’t limit the post to just a few faves, lol. The day was THE perfect summer day; sunny and hot, no humidity and the surroundings were just beautiful!

I must admit I wasn’t sure what a 40something woman would look like in what my daughter calls a “onesie.” The romper look is heavily trending right now in the blogosphere as you can see here and here. I felt I had to check it out for myself and with summer finally here, why not…

I’m not one to follow every trend that arises but there are some that I feel I should give a try and hopefully get some positive feedback. My objective is to cover fashion trends that can be somewhat universal, that are not limited to just a young audience and hopefully inspire women my age to cautiously give them a try.

After wearing it and getting the thumbs up from the Mr. and my big boys I figured it’s all good. This one is from the “Sweet Pea” collection at NY&Co. I loved everything about it; the print, the bold colors and how incredibly comfortable it is. And if you feel you’re showing too much skin, simply drape a light scarf or a cropped cardi for coverage. There. Done.

As long as you feel confident, wear it. You look amazing. Though I have to say my favorite part of the look is that fantastic clutch!
