Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock you know that the previous weekend everyone was going insane for the #lillyfortarget launch. This past weekend I did nothing but play with my latest Lilly finds!

Can I tell you how my purchase for this dress went? All I can say is that I’ve never experienced anything like it before! I’ve never done the Black Friday thing so this was new to me. I really didn’t know what to expect.
I’m so serious when I say that our local Lilly Pulitzer fans are crazy! They were literally lined up outside the fitting rooms with carts filled to the heavens with Lilly stuff and still waiting to see who would leave something behind just so that they would have first dips on it, crazy!
When I got to the store that morning there was NOTHING left on the racks and I mean NOTHING! I got there 30 minutes after the store opened! I was so upset. I decided to make a loop around the store to see what I may find but there was nothing to be found with Lilly on it! By the time I came back to the beginning of my walk I glanced at the racks again and to my amazement I saw this little number hanging there all by itself. Dare I say I ran to it, lol! Low and behold, it was my size!!! I was one super happy girl while my daughter was so confused as to why all the fuss.
Although I didn’t find the one thing I set out for, I’m happy with my purchases especially this “Boom Boom” dress. I also found some pretty pieces for my daughter to wear this summer and a gorgeous summer tote that I’ll be showing you at a later post. But I must warn you, this satin dress may or may not be on repeat!

Such a cute dress! I was away when the collection dropped so I had no chance of getting anything. HA ha. Maybe in a few weeks some stuff will be back and on clearance. There was a pair of shorts I liked

Such a crazy launch, I never expected it to sell out so quickly, and I’m still angry with how Target handled it. They said the collection was supposed to last weeks, but the stores were saying they only received only a couple of each size. Glad you managed to leave with a piece of your own!!

I was lucky to grab a couple of things. The thing is that most people bought items just to sell on ebay. But it does give people that didn’t purchase at the store a shot at getting what they wanted, even if they have to pay more cause Target will not be restocking. oh well… thanks for stopping by! -R
