I have a large pine swag hanging over my fireplace mantle and when the fire is roaring the scent comes alive. I also have several pine scented candles burning throughout the house practically non-stop. The Mr. doesn’t appreciate it as much as I do, he tends to blow them out, but mostly because I’ll forget. This winter scent is so earthy and warm it reminds me of those classic movies where they’re dashing through the snow on a one horse open sleigh. Now if I could just get that scene to come to life…
This week’s outfit continues with the very bold, very festive and very bright red. I hope I’m not boring you guys with this color but it happens to be the color I use most at the end of the year. It’s obviously everywhere and I take advantage of it with a resurgence in February. Putting this outfit together was simple enough, (hint: the website had the same outfit except with a skirt). Not one who particularly cares for the freezing temps during a ski run, I must say this cute sweater was very becoming for a trip to the tree shop.
