#NYE Time

Hello to all of you lovely readers! As we approach what’s left of yet another aging year I thought it appropriate to dedicate my last 2014 post with something a little timing…

#whitecoat4 #bulovawatch1#whitecoat6Not sure if you’ve noticed but I gave my hair a little face lift. Since my second to last post I dyed it back to a much darker and natural shade, (I always go dark in the winter months) and I’ve also got bangs. Although I’m not big on bangs I think its a very simple way to update your look from time to time since you can obviously grow them back.

I’ve done a simple tendrils twist bun for today’s look. Having it on the side rather than the back gives off a more romantic look. It’s super easy to create. Hint, for your NYE hairdo. Start by teasing your hair a bit then grab an elastic hair tie. Pull hair through, then again but only about 75% of its length (you don’t want to end with a pony tail) forming a slightly messy bun. Pin into place with hair pins and pull a few hair tendrils to frame your face. Spray into place. That’s it!#whitecoat1#whitecoat7I’m restyling this pretty winter white coat which I first wore here. I’ve gotten tons of compliments on it that I wear it often even though it’s an incredibly high maintenance piece due to it’s obvious color. But it’s definitely worth the investment because it lends a super chic look.#whitecoat8Coat, Forever 21 | Sequins tank, ATLoft, similar | Pants, ATLoft, similar | Pumps, Express, similar | Clutch, Macy’s | Bracelet, Express, similar | Necklace, ATLoft, old | Watch c/o Bulova

I’ve also dug up these gorgeous velvet red pants I purchased last year. I have another pair in black and I often wear them throughout the season when it’s too cold for skirts. They’re a winter staple and perfect for the festive season especially when paired with a cute sequins top, yep another one, they just compliment each other so well.

Time is-a-ticking and we’re down to just a few hours till the new year. I want to thank you readers and fans alike for your support to this blog. As a fairly new blogger I’ve enjoyed 2014 very much and in turn learned a lot in the process.

On a side note, I’ve just lost my part time day job. I will now have more time to dedicate to the blog and be more focused on delivering material that is of interest to you. My hope is to continue to bring ideas and inspiration worthy of your loyalty.

I sincerely hope you all end your year in a healthy and fabulous way with the ones you love the most in your lives. See you in 2015!

Oh, I love your whole outfit! I wish I had the guts to wear a white coat but I always think I’m going to get it so dirty. The sequin top is probably my favorite though! Have a happy New Year! Enjoy!
