In celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness this past month, I was excited to be part of a wonderful event honoring breast cancer survivors. Hosted by the lovely Charlotte Street, executive producer of Charlotte Street Lively Living, the event was a great tribute celebrating women and their stories of strength and courage.
Charlotte’s dedication to influence and beautify women was showcased by her talent as a makeup artist. She gifted her time and energy for a fantastic makeover to a wonderful cancer survivor. The highlight of our evening was the gratitude that was ensued by the receiver, her son and the audience as a whole.

The evening was a “celebration of life.” Charlotte and her crew were amazing and all the special guests were filled with appreciation by Charlotte’s dedication of love and beauty. Without a doubt, the act of giving back is a tremendous way to show gratitude and appreciation for what we believe in. To make someone feel special, to uplift and empower, that’s Charlotte’s mantra, if only for a day, it’s worth more than words can say.
