Sitting by a beautiful roaring fire, warm fluffy throw draped over you, apple cider tea an inch away, a lovely book gracing your lap or a great classic movie enhanced by surround sound; this would be my typical weekend during the cold months.

I don’t mind not doing anything, that is, if you consider lounging not doing anything and certainly hanging out by a roaring fire is much nicer when the fireplace is looking oh so pretty. I look forward to switching things around a bit every season and I particularly love the fall time because somehow the vivid colors of autumn become alive when the fire is dancing.
