Leopard & Stripes

While putting this post together I realized I’m starting a new season, once again, with stripes. I hope I’m not boring you guys with it. And as I’ve mentioned before, no stripe is fun until you pair it with a visually pleasing pattern like the leo print.

Typically I would have chosen pumps or wedges but I was aiming for a more relaxed and comfortable look. I am now totally in love with these d’orsays! In case you haven’t noticed, I don’t incorporate flats into my wardrobe much, except for sandals obviously in the summer months; you can see those here. I’m 5’4″, so every inch counts, and since J. Crew rarely disappoints me, I found these just too cute to pass. They were perfect for a mid-day stroll out in town and added the right amount of “ooohs” to my outfit.

I hope you all have had a fabulous summer right up to this long weekend. I am really excited and looking forward to share with you all new and interesting things for the upcoming season!

That necklace is gorgeous! I love pieces like that. I’m only 5’1 so I barely wear flats too. Those are so cute though!
