An introduction to fall hues…
This outfit post brings my summer styling season of 2014 to a close. Next weekend ushers in a new season and I am as eager as ever to welcome it. I love to rotate my wardrobe and play with new colors. Not that I didn’t wear black during the summer months but it was certainly limited to an outfit or two.
I decided to jump on the wagon and give the “romper” or “jumpsuit” trend a try. Kinda like the tulle trend earlier this year, you can see that one here, I wasn’t sure if it was something for me. But, like the tulle, I’m glad I gave it a shot. It isn’t uncomfortable as I thought it would be, (the wearing of a onesie thing) nor is it too Mod for my age. This one is from New York & Co. and I absolutely love it! I actually had a jacket to wear over it but decided against it, (I’ll introduce you to it in a future post). I think it would’ve taken away from the overall chic look. I don’t think you can tell but I was actually shivering when we shot these pics. The sun was setting, hence the difference in lighting, and it got cold quick! (I don’t think I’ll be going sleeveless much longer).
And what do you think of this teal colored bag I picked up at Target! It looks more expensive than it is, at just $39! I chose this color from the collection available. What drew me was the fine little details, like that tortoise button in front and gold tone hardware, it’ll be accompanying me around for the next few weeks.
And thank you for accompanying me in my styling adventures. I appreciate your stopping by!
