I couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend my day in Newport and who better to spend it with!

My daughter and I had such a fun time at the annual Newport Flower Show. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect, the showcases were absolutely beautiful and Rosecliff was as enchanting as ever! As a huge fan of the original “Gatsby” movie, filmed here, starring Robert Redford, (sorry Leo) visiting this amazing place always feels like it takes me back in time.
It was another lovely occasion to wear a big floppy hat with dots and a bow. It sort of reminded me of a certain recent derby event… You could smell the sweet floral aroma in the air instead of the usual ocean scent. Delicious caterers, live music and even the children’s floral and train show was impressive. At the end of our visit we sat on a bench and toasted to our beautiful day with cold iced tea in champagne flutes. Nothing on this planet delights me more than spending some quality time with my little sidekick!
