Saying goodbye to summer is always bittersweet. While it’s always been my favorite season, I still look forward to the autumn, my second favorite. By now I begin to crave cozy days and cool nights and of course all the comfort foods I can possibly muster up.
Sweater weather is very much here to stay and as you can see I’ve already begun wearing them. Over the weekend I wore this awesome varsity letter sweater and I gotta tell ya it was a huge hit! Everywhere I went people stopped to ask me where I got it from.
It so happens to be from the JCrew fall men’s collection. I wish they had a similar look for women, but hey, this works just fine, make sure to size down. There are several other letters and colors to choose from but this has been the most popular and for obvious reasons it’s almost sold out.
FUN FACT: My daughter was born on the last day of summer and every year we reminisce about that beautiful day. It was a hot sunny Sunday afternoon when her brothers were out swimming in the pond. Vin and I were home watching T.V. when my water broke. The pond is a little ways off so he jumped on his dirt bike and sped off to warn the boys to get back to the house. We all headed to the hospital to finally meet this little one. It was the greatest experience the entire family had.
