When I think of seersucker I automatically think of spring and summer. It’s a fabric that is very popular during the warm weather and is usually worn in pretty, light colors. What got my attention about this dress was the deep fall hues and check pattern that are perfect for the season. The fact that it’s seersucker is a perfect example of how easily we can transition our favorite fabrics from one season to another.
At first I thought of styling the dress with a cute comfy pair of loafers for a casual look. Then I immediately changed my mind and decided to dress up the look a little by wearing a neutral pair of pumps. Since my ankle injury earlier this year I haven’t worn heels. This was the first time and I was very cautious when walking with them. Alas, the pumps felt great, looked great and I was happy to be back on heels once again.
