There’s just something to be said about wearing beautiful full gowns. As luck would have it, I’ve had this dress hanging in my closet for several months now. At first I couldn’t wear it because it was just too cold out. And with a dress like this the last thing you want to do is hide it underneath a coat. Then of course the whole Coronavirus thing happened, further hindering any opportunity to wear the dress…
Believe it or not, I do in fact, get dolled up from time to time. It’s not as often as I’d like, but it happens. My lifestyle doesn’t consist of black tie events but as much as I love being casual most of the time, I also love to throw on a fancy dress, even if that means with boots. It’s that time of year for lots of outdoor celebrations but unfortunately not much will take place this season. Rather than wait for the perfect setting I decided to put the dress on and romp about a flourishing dandelion field.
I typically stick to two dress styles, a shift or a midi dress. It obviously depends on the occasion, season and time of day but what I love most about both styles is that they look great for most gatherings and dress codes. That being said, a full gown is something every girl should have as a backup.

I absolutely love customizing a look and while everything about this dress is spring perfect I would definitely make a few simple changes:
The sweetheart neckline makes my bosom look much fuller than it really is and the sleeves are also too full or too long, I don’t know but it just doesn’t feel right for my taste. (I honestly don’t know what I was thinking when I chose both, Pride & Prejudice perhaps?)… Anyway, now that I think about it a modern halter style would’ve given this dress a more dramatic look.
All in all, the entire piece is well made, great quality, and absolutely romantic. The fit according to my measurements is on point!
