I am sooo ready to let go of winter and set sail into spring! Aren’t you? The sun came out and the temps reached mid 50s, so naturally it was the perfect opportunity to wear my new custom made-to-order dress! Today I’m sharing this fabulous yacht print midi dress that was made especially for me by eShakti! 
If you aren’t familiar with the online shop eShakti, I’m here to let you know about their unique product line of fully customizable pieces, and at prices that are budget friendly. For me one of the problems I face when shopping involve finding button-ups that fit perfectly around my chest area. I always size up than my norm in order to avoid that pull or tugging look with the buttons. Unfortunately this makes my shirts or blouses and even dresses too big. I either wear a cami underneath in order to undo the breast area buttons or I simply return them.
When eShakti asked me to try out their customizable outfits I jumped on the offer. I specifically chose this shirt dress in order to test how good their custom sizing really is. It has hidden buttons from the neck all the way down the front of the dress which is exactly the kind of thing I struggle with when picking something off the rack. The fact that I absolutely love the yacht print really had nothing to do with my choice, lol.
I followed the instructions and diagrams and measured several times to make sure they were correct. Since the orders can only be done in whole numbers, anytime I measured a half size I rounded up. After sending in my measurements I waited for about two weeks when the dress finally came in the mail. The packaging was also very nicely done, and the dress arrived with zero wrinkles! As soon as I got it I couldn’t wait to put it on and was, quite honestly hesitant, because I didn’t know what to expect. I was so hoping it would fit me well and I’m glad to report that eShakti nailed it!!! 
I’m seriously happy with the waist size, the length and yes, the bust sizing is absolutely perfect! This dress comes with a pretty liner, or slip and it too was a perfect fit. I wore it with the same bra I had on when I took my measurements and it all fits ever so smoothly. The sizing couldn’t have been made any better! I love the fullness of the skirting and the pretty cinched waist line. The dress is perfect for ushering in the spring and summer season and it will definitely be on repeat!

If you choose to customize an outfit and tailor for a perfect fit, the wait time is roughly about two weeks. I don’t think it’s a bad turnaround especially when you’re ordering something to fit your needs. I recently ordered some items from J. Crew and it took almost a month before I received them in the mail, and that’s a U.S order! These come all the way from India.
