What I’m Packing for The Berkshires’ Ski Trip

Today’s post is a coincidental followup of sorts to my recent ski post. Previously I discussed local CT ski mountains for beginners. Now we’re moving a little further up north for some fun. My daughter has a few days off from school starting Friday and we decided to take a little impromptu trip to The Berkshires.

There’s something to be said about packing up the car and hitting the road for a few days. I don’t mind traveling by car so long as we keep it to a two hour max. This trip is just under an hour and a half’s drive and quite beautiful along the scenic roads of the Berkshires. This time of year they’re all lined up with pretty snow covered trees. We’ll be lodging and skiing at Jimmy Peak Mountain Resort nestled in Western Mass. I’m super excited because we haven’t been to this mountain in a few years and I’m really looking forward to visiting the village again. We have lots planned for our stay including some night skiing, hot tubs, heated pools and lots of beautiful snowy mountains!

Here’s a peek at some of the items I’m packing. As you can imagine, packing for a day of skiing in general is no joke let alone for a few days. I mean, we’re talking regular clothing, a multitude of ski layers and gear, toiletries, resort wear and basics for lounging. And now I wait for some other items to arrive, hopefully on time before we leave, (fingers crossed).

Hi Rosa, even I am planning to go on a ski vacation to Berkshires. Heard a lot about this amazing place and while trying to gather more knowledge about this I came across this resourceful piece of information of yours. I will definitely look forward to checking the list of the products which you have shared.
