It’s no secret I love shoes and I love styling boots. And when the fall season rolls in, it’s the perfect time of year to wear both. Today I’m showcasing a few classic fall pieces I wear over and over again, year after year. Booties are a perfect way to transition into the fall season. With so many style options and colors to pick from it’s really easy to grab a pair that will walk you through the season for years to come. I found these Dr. Scholl’s booties and absolutely love them for the comfort and style they provide. It’s a good idea to grab a neutral pair and a darker pair that way you can rotate them between different outfits.
Another classic fall item I love to wear are these ‘Penny’ riding boots. This is more of a preppy style that goes so well with a lot of outfits, including midi skirts and of course leggings. I don’t ride horses but none the less, its a look I love and is very popular in New England. Again, a neutral pair like this one and a darker one are a great way to rotate during the season.
This is probably one of my all time favorite fall wardrobe pieces! A herringbone/plaid blazer is a must have. They are warm, classic, stylish and never ever go out of style! Perfect for layering and dressing up any look.
Another item (or I should say print) I bring out during the fall season are leopard print shoes. I love how they add a pop of color and dimension to any outfit. These leopard d’orsays are old but I’ve found similar new ones for the season. They’re easy and fun to style.
