So the ‘un-official’ start of summer has begun! I always mark my calendar for Memorial Day Weekend because it literally puts me on summer mode. In previous years we’ve had great MDWs and awful wet ones too. This year we got a little of both. One day it was sunny and near eighty the next day it dropped to sixty-ish with rain.
The nicer of the two we got to spend it at one of our favorite spots in Newport, Castle Hill Inn overlooking the amazing Newport bay. It was a tad windy up there but other than that it was an absolutely gorgeous day! I highly recommend stopping by this place if you happen to be visiting the City by the Sea!
My dress is a recent find at Macy’s and it’s a winner! I love Tommy Hilfiger collections and this dress is proof! The red, white and blue details couldn’t be more appropriate for the season and the hip hugging style is one I truly enjoy styling whenever possible.
Gloria is wearing a Little Lilly shift dress. We love the colors, the style and the comfort and ease in which she can move and play around. The dresses have become summer must-haves for little girls and are always on point. Our Jack Rogers sandals are also summer classics for when wearing wedges or heels is not on the agenda.
