Just the other day we celebrated what is now officially national stripes day. Thanks to J.Crew for dedicating a day just to stripes it is now on the calendar and I couldn’t have been happier! From time to time people ask me if I wear anything else other than stripes and the answer is yes I do. It is by far my favorite wardrobe pattern of all. It takes a lot from me not to jam up my instagram feed with stripes. I have quite the collection of stripe shirts, polos, sweaters, dresses and handbags. I go all out with stripes come spring time and well into the very end of summer and then with sweaters into the fall and winter. To me stripes are versatile, are a classic nautical clean cut style that is favored by preppy and hipsters alike and it also gives off a chic Parisian tone. Yep, I love stripes!
