Farm To Table with ZOHARA & Sub-Edge Farm

Rosa Diana at ZOHARA in West HartfordWine tasting at ZOHARA West Hartford I recently shared a visit to ZOHARA for a fantastic wine dinner and as usual, it was a fantastic event. This time I was graciously asked to stop by for a media preview of a wonderful spread prepared by talented Chef Scott Miller focusing on local organic produce from Sub Edge Farm. ZOHARA, part of DORO Restaurant Group proudly hosts marquee farm dinners, overseen by Chef Dorjan Puka and Chef Scott Miller during the summer months. You can take a peek at one of their dinners here. Sub Edge Farm will once again be the setting for the Doro Farm Dinners, combining fresh, organic, small batch, family farmed produce with the unparalleled chef expertise of the Doro team.

The main focus is to have fresh local produce on hand for the restaurant’s menu. Sub Edge is partnering to deliver a weekly load of fresh, organic seasonal ingredients to the restaurants (primarily ZOHARA and A’Vert) to be incorporated into that week’s menu and specials. This allows for patrons and guests to enjoy fresh, local, organic ingredients in the restaurants as well as on the farm all summer long. Stay tuned for additional pop-ups coming to the ZOHARA patio later in the season!
