I love smoothies. Unfortunately I don’t make them as often as I should. But every once in a while I go on a smoothie binge. You know how they say ‘too much of anything is not a good thing?’ I beg to differ on this one. My daughter went to a friend’s house recently and while there they made smoothies. She came home and couldn’t wait to make a batch of her own. So here we are. You can try different kinds of milks, yogurts or ice-cream. Maybe add chia seeds, granola, oats or protein powder. Also play with an assortment of fruits and berries, fresh or frozen. The possibilities are endless but this particular recipe is just a simple snack that is still very healthy and best of all, fun to make!
