I have what is called “normal to dry skin,” which means I have normal skin during the hot weather and drier skin during the winter months. Typically as soon as the weather warms up my beauty skincare routine gets revamped. What works for me during the winter months doesn’t necessarily for the warmer months.
I’m a creature of habit and I don’t like to make drastic changes. Having said that, our skin changes as we age so we have to adjust our skincare treatments as needed. I’ve been a loyal Lancóme user for as long as I can remember but as of late I’m finding that some of the products aren’t treating my skin like it used to. Just recently I was introduced to the Kiehl’s skincare line and so far I’m loving it!After washing my face with a gentle cleanser and pat drying I use the Turmeric & Cranberry Energizing Mask. I don’t recommend masking everyday because the beads may irritate the skin as it exfoliates. This facial mask instantly brightens dull, fatigued skin and restores skin’s healthy, rosy appearance over time. I use it once a week.
After cleansing and/or masking I use the Line Reducing Concentrate before the moisturizer. I absolutely LOVE this treatment! It is a powerful anti-wrinkle treatment with 10.5% Vitamin C and when you apply it the formula blends into the skin and you experience a feeling of warmth. It provides anti-oxidant protection and also exfoliates skin. After the concentrate I use the new Rosa Arctica Lightweight Cream for day. This cream truly is lightweight and is delicately scented with lavender oil, known for its relaxing and soothing properties. It fights the signs of skin aging over time, including lines, wrinkles and loss of elasticity, firmness and density. I use it daily.I’ve been using the Super Multi-Corrective Cream as my night cream. It is slightly heavier than the Rosa Arctica because it is a multi-targeted anti-aging moisturizer that corrects the most visible signs of aging. It’s the perfect night treatment as it also provides all night hydration.
