Engagement with Lux Bond & Green

I stopped by our local Lux Bond & Green during their Best Bridal Wedding Band Extravaganza last weekend for a fun day of engagement. If I had to do it all over again I know exactly where I would go to get my engagement ring. I gathered my good friend Kelly and my little girl for some fun, sparkle and even a little champagne while we perused through an entire shop gleaming with all things girly! We were welcomed by a most lovely and very helpful staff in the West Hartford location. Drinks were offered, coats were taken and a quick update on what was available at the store was given. Aside from all of the amazing jewels on display, I never realized the myriad of other beautiful things available for the picking.

Kelly and I tried on some pretty awesome pieces of jewels. I happened to fall in love with this 5 carat emerald cut beauty! I looked around for traditional rings and couldn’t decide on one when suddenly I saw this. I don’t think I would choose it as an engagement ring but I certainly think its a fabulous pick as an anniversary gift. It’s safe to say I’ve earned it after 23+ years!I also fell in love with the gorgeous crystal and glass collection on display by William Yeoward. The design inspiration for William Yeoward Crystal is drawn from antique pieces from around England and Ireland. Did you know he is the only maker of the wedding bouquet vase? Genius! Forget throwing your bouquet away to the girls. Keep that gorgeous floral arrangement and display it loud and proud in your new vase at home!Kelly was a little more subtle with her pick. Half traditional, half modern, this oval cut diamond engagement ring was perfect on her finger!But then she got a little more ambitious and decided the three stone diamond ring in platinum would be her ultimate pick! The 5 carat beauty next to a slightly smaller singular emerald cut. The latter would be my engagement ring pick if I had to choose!What a fantastic time we had trying on new jewelry at Lux Bond & Green. The event was wonderful not only for brides but for anyone that appreciates exceptional jewelry, beautiful crystal and china and fabulous unique gifts. The lovely staff and reps far exceeded all expectations on professionalism as they were very helpful addressing ideas and concerns and demonstrated great customer service!
