Little G had the day off from school (only our town had PDD) so we decided to go mum hunting while the crowds were away. She truly is a huge help. Every fall season we visit different farms (this one being my fave) for apples, pumpkins, hayrides and of course for the beautiful colorful mums on display. The season is seriously short lived so we plan on taking full advantage.
And the weather, ahhhh, seriously you guys, early mornings begin with a crisp chill in the air and by mid afternoon the layers come off one by one; so is New England… It was also the first day I pulled out my new pair of riding boots for a casual fall outfit. I already have a pair in black so it was high time for a brown pair to alternate my fall outfits with. And who doesn’t appreciate one of fall’s must haves, the quilted puffer vest. J. Crew hits it out of the ball park every year with their styles and colors, plenty to choose from. I’m seriously crushing on this one, I absolutely LOVE the corduroy touches!
The fall season also brings some of my favorite hot drinks too. I’m a PSL girl but dare I say I’m kinda tired of it.. I recently tried the new chile mocha and it really is awesome! I also heard Starbucks has a fantastic hot apple cider, how did I miss that one? My next stop will be…
