Palm Print

For those of you following me on Facebook or Instagram, you already know of my shenanigans over the weekend. I once again traveled to Newport, RI for this year’s 21st Annual Newport Flower Show. For those of you not following me yet don’t miss out on all the beautiful fun to be posted soon.

Today’s post we’re concentrating on our outfits. Palm prints, gingham and floppy hats, what more can be said other than they’re fun and scream summer style. Palm prints have been making the rounds this season and I for one love it. My easy to wear shift was perfect for the occasion as I was surrounded by beautiful floral arrangements on a super hot day. My daughter’s gingham dress with the pretty eyelet details is also comfy and a huge summer staple.

My sparkle wedges are perhaps my favorite summer find thus far! They were exactly what the occasion ordered and I’m totally in love with them. I assure you they will be on repeat all summer long! 

And did you get a load of my statement necklace! When I saw this thing I literally ran to snag it. At the shop it there were other women eyeing it and it was the only one left plus on a serious discount! I dressed it up even more with the cute little ‘pineapple brooch’ also on sale, I know, I know, the pineapple obsession…Full sun calls for stylish floppy and straw hats and although we didn’t plan on matching ours, it kinda worked out that way. I stopped by Angela Moore’s boutique and picked this one and I absolutely love it. Her designs are always fabulous with a resort feel that is always on point.
