When you hear the words Foxwoods Resort Casino the words adult fun jumps into your mind. But did you know that Foxwoods has lots of fun to offer kids! Foxwoods recently hosted ‘Kids Week’ with a live performance of Clifford the Big Red Dog and it couldn’t have been more fun.
We began our visit to Foxwoods with a phenomenal playdate at the Tree House Arcade. What kid doesn’t enjoy endless games and entertainment? My niece and daughter had so much fun playing all sorts of video and table games. And if you ask them their favorite part, they quickly agree it was the cashing in of their collected game tickets. And my son certainly didn’t complain either…
Shortly after we were ushered to the VIP section of the Fox Theater for our much anticipated live show of Clifford the Big Red Dog! The production was fantastic. It was long enough for the girls to enjoy but not get restless. The intermission was perfect timing for bathroom breaks and some Clifford memorabilia.
After the show the girls were super excited to finally meet ‘Clifford.’ Big hugs and high fives were in order.
We decided to skip dinner for the moment at California Pizza and did some spring shopping at Tanger Outlets instead. After our shopping spree we went back to eat but found the restaurant too busy to wait so we popped in at Fuddruckers instead and enjoyed some good ‘ole classic american flare with the most amazing ice cream shakes ever. But I guess we’ll have to go back to Foxwoods for that California Pizza!
We eventually made our way to Cake by Franck for the most delicious cupcake treats. What a way to end our day at Foxwoods. Next time you think Foxwoods, think that kids have lots of fun there too!
