As you may already have guessed, I’m totally loving the fall season. So, why not add a little spice to my makeup routine as well. My recent beauty finds include a gorgeous lip color, one of my favorite designer’s fragrance, a gloss and a little unusual lip treatment.
e.l.f recently sent me this odd lipstick and to be quite honest, I wasn’t sure it was something I’d use. Well let me tell you, this lip exfoliator has quickly become my new best friend! I don’t go near a lipstick without using this awesome product first. Who’d a thought exfoliating your lips could be so cool! It’s perfect for the winter season to help rid of dry flaky lips. I use it once a day for soft silky lips to be dressed in my favorite color!Which brings me to the newest addition of lip color. Fall season ushers in a slew of beautiful colors for the wardrobe and guess what, for makeup too! I wanted to give the corals and the pinks a rest and went in search for a happy-earthy color. I fell in love with L’Oreal’s orangey-ish color, it’s actually called ‘Always Apricot,’ and it looks absolutely fabulous! Incidently I didn’t find a glossy mate for the lipstick until I came across Revlon’s lip lacquer in ‘Citrine,’ how fitting! It is a perfect compliment to the lipstick and if I just want gloss, it looks great all by itself. I think I’ve mentioned before how I’m not a fan of the “matte” look, I’m an 80’s glossy girl…And last but not least, a new fragrance. I don’t know about you but I just tire of wearing the same thing over and over. After a while I just don’t even smell the scent anymore. I received a sample of Tory Burch’s original perfume and well, the rest is history. This is a fun, easy and polished scent that goes so well with a spirited girl, love it!Tory Burch perfume | e.l.f lip exfoliator c/o | L’Oreal lipstick | Revlon lip lacquer | Pier 1 Imports tray
These are my current ‘commitments’ but of course I’ll be changing gears in another few months… What are your new makeup colors and faves of the fall season?
