I can’t very well say every season in Connecticut is my favorite; or can I?
I picked up the striped dress a few weeks back and I’m super glad I did! It’s cozy and soft and I especially love the bold red stripes. It’s another one of those transitional pieces that can go a long way. I paired it with the utility vest I picked up back in the spring for an added touch of warmth. It has become a great layering piece and the neutral color goes great with just about anything. Next I’ll add my plaid blanket scarf for some pattern mix and extra warmth and voila, I’ll be all set for a hayride!
Apple picking is one of my favorite fall traditions. We have so much fun frolicking through the orchards picking all sorts of sweet apples. And I so look forward to making pies, pancakes and fritters, chowders and other apple goodies for the family. Besides, what better way to spend a beautiful autumn day than picking apples with none other than the apple of my eye…
Have a fantastic week ahead friends and stay tuned for some great apple recipes coming your way!

What a cute look for apple picking! I love that the long sleeves will help you get some extra wear from the dress.
