Hello friends and welcome back! Today I’m sharing a mini (and I literally mean mini) tour of my family room emphasizing on fall touches. I like to change things up a little bit with new seasonal items. Although most of the decor in this room remains the same throughout the year (it’s the room we use the most other than the kitchen) it takes on a new life when I freshen it up with little things.

I’ve replaced the tulips and peonies with these cute little gourds I picked up on the way home at a stand by the road, (we have lots of farmers in the area and they often put things out for passerbys to purchase on a whim) genius! I’ve also replaced my lavender and rose scented candles with pumpkins, spices and apple for the fall. The house has already adopted the delicious fall scent.
This is a super simple way to introduce a new season into the home. You really don’t have to go all out and spend a ton of money in order to change the seasonal theme of a room. And since I’ve yet to stop by the nursery to grab some mums and giant pumpkins (it’s on my to-do list for this weekend) these little touches are enough to make the room feel warm and inviting as the temps begin to drop.
