This week’s style post brings up two confessions. First, I LOVE not having to wear a bra when I don’t really need to and second, chiffon is my new favorite fabric! This gorgeous blush pink chiffon dress was my pick for a wedding I attended over the weekend.
Earlier in the week (as per usual) I was agonizing over what I would wear to the wedding. I knew I didn’t want a LBD or a knee length dress for that matter. I wanted something a little different. The moment I saw this dress on the mannequin I knew it was the one. The cut couldn’t be more forgiving and most importantly, I didn’t have to wear a bra!
Chiffon is so beautiful and graceful and this blush pink color is just devine! It is soft and unassuming. And although this dress is super light and airy I was able to get away with not wearing a bra which is totally awesome!
For a split second I thought it might be too prom-ish but the color, fabric and cut were simple and elegant, perfect for the occasion and not at all typical of what girls wear to a prom nowadays. They think that the less they cover the better they look which is the farthest thing from the truth!
The runner up was this J. Crew dress but for the price tag I just couldn’t pass on this one!

I think you made a great choice! The floaty chiffon and blush shade are perfectly elegant. You are also so lucky you can go without a bra – with all the crazy strappy summer cuts, it’s the fashionistas dream, and will never be my reality.
